Default Keep it real

Becareful about thinking losing weight will make you "happy". If that were true, with all your great work already, you would be perfectly happy, no? You lost a lot of weight!

As has been said, your results now are considered a "success" in the eyes of the surgeons. My doctor already told me that if I can get below 200 I will be a "success". That doesn't mean I'll be at a healthy weight in my opinion, but I'll have lost 50% of my excess weight. They will be happy, beause I will be healthier. Does that make sense?

So - keep it real. What do you really want for you? Forget boyfriends and fathers - if you were alone on a desert Island, what would you want to weigh or would you even care?

Do you feel good? You work out a lot - I'm sure you're strong and healthy.
Try changing as has been suggested if you feel you have fallen into some bad habits and don't worry about the number so much. Through out the scale!

Default Pouch Rules

I am actually pre - op..and love the Pouch Rules - hope to have them memorized by the time I can have surgery! Angela, if you can't find a support group for WLS you can look into weight watchers to help you lose the weight you gained and to help you monitor the weight more closely. WW is not a long term solution for me..or I wouldn't need WLS, but to get off a some presurgery weight I'm going to go...the support helps.
