Thank you for responding. It sounds like a lot of us have the same problems. I am going to a dietician tomorrow thru new start to see what advice they have. Everyday I say the same thing, I 'm going to do it today and by 12:00 I have also blown it.

I went to a pre-surgery meeting at about three months for a refresher. When asked if I had anything to say, I told the group to be prepared to follow a diet plan after surgery. Boy, did I get a glare! However, just because you have the surgery and loose the weight, it doesn't mean you will be able to ignore your diet. Everything I've read says that the patient of wls will regain a percentage of the weight lost. So we need to STILL eat right, exercise and take into account any specific problems we might have....it IS a tool to be used with a continuous program for good health. I, too, have stalled. AND I feel like I did before the surgery. Frustrated. However, I am trying to follow my own advise...continuing to exercise, drink h2o, and eat right.

Good luck to you all.

My husband and I went to a meeting over the weekend. It did seem to offer hope, it just seems like the people in there are soooo depressed. Deep emotional issues - to me they need to be on a one on one therapy. Way more than my issues. I would love to get out of a meeting of different things to try and not are you sad, happy, etc.... That's just me and my hsubands opinion. We quit going because it was so depressing, but this last one did help and we are meeting with a nutritionist at tomorrow's meeting, I am looking forward to that. It's like a need someone to tell me exactly what to do. I also want to try and re-shrink my stomach. Any suggestions?
