Default Yeah well...

Brenda the teacher may have a nice to ring to it, but day after day after day of sitting in the passenger seat has it's downfalls too. My back and neck ache from being thrown forward when the students slam on the brakes. My tail bone hurts from having to sit for long periods of time. My heart takes a trip to my throat at least 5 times a day when the student doesn't hit their brakes hard enough or soon enough, and I think we're going to hit someone, or they start their turn too soon and I think the trailer is going to take out the traffic light or telephone pole on the corner. I have to keep my cool 100% of the time because if I let it show that I'm tense or nervous, it's going to make the student more nervous. I don't know. It's a GREAT feeling to know that I trained this person or that one, and that I can help make their life a success, but then it's also a kick in the pants when they DON'T pass their DMV test and they come back for more training and you feel like you've let them down in some way. Somedays I wonder, "why the heck am I doing this?" But most days I go home feeling that I DID something for someone else as well as for myself. For some reason that Van Halen song comes to mind..."Hot for Teacher" HAHAHA

It just seems like life gets better and better everyday. I'm getting a raise at work (its about time!!), I'm possibly getting a $1500 bonus, I am in a new and HEALTHY relationship, my children are happy and healthy...who could ask for more? Life is good!!

Default Have some news...

Well went to the Dr FINALLY on Friday. I have been having some severe pouchie pain, and have an upper GI scheduled for the 3rd to rule out an ulcer. I got some blood drawn and found out that I am indeed anemic. The Dr put me on some stronger acid medication, folic acid and about 1000 mg of iron supplements. He said maybe the fact that I'm still smoking could have something to do with the pain. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Default OH yeah...

And I'm no longer in the relationship I though I was in. He's been gone for a month and only called me 3 times. He's been so busy...BLAH BLAH BLAH!! Excuses!! Said he was going to send me a Valentine's Day card, but forgot. If you're in a relationship with someone and tell them you love them...do you forget to send them a Valentine's Day card? Do you NOT call for a month, except for 3, 5 minute conversations? Do you swear that you've wanted them so bad, for so long, and then when you get them...forsake them? NO!! So, I've decided that I'm once again single. Until he shows me that our daughter and I are more important than his work...I'm single. Is that wrong?
