If anyone is interested Jim and I will be @ the Starbucks in Mira Mesa on Friday for a casual support group get-together. We usually go to the pre-op supp.group on the 1st Thursday but cannot make it there this month. We need the support so we thought we would invite others to join us for a visit.

Hope to see some of you there. We may bring our birds so we will be easy to recognize. Thanks.

Hi I'm new to the forum (in dictation as of 7/28) and live in the Mira Mesa area and would like to get involved with a support group. I attended the July 28th Support meeting and am going to the meeting this Thursday. Not to good at posting or answering threads yet so please be patient with me.
What time and where are you meeting? I want to start getting the support and help before surgery so I know what to expect. Thanks...plus starting to get anixous and nevrous.

Welcome Jackie! Hello friend. Good idea to meet up with the support groups, Im sure youve heard me preach that at the support group meetings... Jim and Connie are great people, both are early and way far out post operatively, they are a wealth of information! You wont regret going...

Forgot to mention a time....how about 5 - 7 p.m. We will have 2 large birds with us. If you don't see us (which is doubtful) you will hear the birds.

Hi All,

I will be there. People don't usually start arriving until about 6:00. I'll be there at 6:00. I hope to see you all there. I haven't been able to make it for awhile and I really miss the support that is given there. This group is so great!!!
