Default Hernia repair-3rd time will be a charm!!!

Saw my doc yesterday and he will go in for the third time to repair my hernia. The mesh has rubbed my ribs raw and it is time. I originally was going to wait 6 months, but I am tired of being on pain meds and my anxiety is just now getting under control with Xananx. I can't be on these meds too long....or I will have liver damage. After all I have been through, I need to win this battle. I have a referral in for a hernia revision and umbilicus repair because my belly button got lost....yes I am a wreck. I just hope this time will be it and I will be back to normal in no time. Thanks to all of my close friends who have stood by me praying for my health through all of this. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one because my insurance at work changed. I am in a gray area with pre-existing treatment and my new insurance will have to take over. I am ready....I wish it was over and done. Sorry to vent....I know you all are listening and thanks for lending your ears.

Love to all!!!

Good luck and speedy recovery. I know how long and hard the recovery can be. I wish you the best and have all my toes crossed too.

I hope everything works out well for you and you can get rid of that awful rubbing on your ribs - it must feel horrible.
