Default Complication- Pancreatitis and Gall Bladder Removal

I am in the hospital. I went in with severe pain on Thursday evening. My pancreas and liver are enlarged. I am waiting for them to get back to normal size and am having surgery to remove my gall bladder. The Dr's are thinking the gall bladder will be out by Monday. How have others dealt with complication? any tips? suggestions? words of wisdom?

Gall bladder surgery is a very routine surgery. You're gonna be fine. My GB surgery was tons easier than WLS. You'll do great! *hugs* Hope you feel better soon !!

I had my gall bladder removed about a month ago. So I was about 10 months post-op. It was a breeze. Way, way easier than my RNY. And I felt sooooo much better after it was out!

PGH, pancreatitis, I'm told, is very painful. Hope you are more comfortable soon. My gall bladder removal was a cakewalk, but I didn't have the added complications you have.

Hang in there!
