Question Tummy Tucks?

Are there any post-ops out there who have gone through a tummy tuck? My wife, Terry (5-23-02) just got the approval to have a tummy tuck. She'd like to discuss it with someone else who has gone through it. Thanks

Woody

Hi Woody!
I'm so happy to hear about your wife getting the approval for her "tuck"... I know that Ed from the list, I GUESS he's still on the list, at least he was on the "old" thinnertimes list, had the tuck done, and posted pictures. You might try to get a hold of him, I bet he could really help Terry.
Give her my congratulations and best of luck~

Talking Tummy Tuck

Hey Gerry, we have BC/BS PPO. Her PCP has quite a way with words and because of his report, the insurance company designated it a medically necessary procedure.

Christina, at times I feel like an outsider in here because we no longer live in San Diego and can't get in on the social aspects anymore. But, I've been a part of thinnertimes since 2/02 and that's too long of a time to give up on the group. Thanks for the well wishes.

Sandi, I dont think I've seen Ed post in here yet, but Ed, if you're out there, let me know.

We got on obesityhelp.com last night and found a few people in the CHATROOM (ahem) to give us some info. Terry is "allergic" to pain and needed some reassurance that the pain was tolerable. She got that information and feels a bit better about things. She'll be having a double procedure done...... a panis lift and an abdominoplasty. She's very apprehensive about it all, and excited too. She hasn't been able to see her ummmmmmm (yeah, that's it) for quite some time. She lost well over 100 lbs but with the TT, she'd lose another 10 to 20 pounds of loose skin. This would surely make her journey complete.

Now if I could just talk her into posting on here herself.......

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Woody
