Have you begun drinking with your meals? I'm no expert, but I've heard that can make a huge difference. good luck.

You may ned to go back to the basics for a while. Search this forum for the Pouch Rules for Dummies to get an idea what you could do different. The body has an amazing ability to adapt.

Three thoughts:

1) How is your exercise? I find that my well being and weight maitenance is tied to my activity level as well as the exercise.

2) Trigger foods, are you having problems with eating too much because of some old habits brought on by triiger foods. I know personally my trigger foods are Potato Chips and Carb-Wise sugar free Ice Cream. I don't have them in the house, if I have a craving, I have to think twice and usually will not get in the car to go get them.

3) Last, I went to a support group with my wife and the thought was brought up to put a pre-op picture of yourself by the snacking place ie: the pantry. I have found this helps me with trigger foods.

Hope this helps.

I read about a lady who had put most of her weight back on after wls. She sought help. The advice she was given is exactly what Marie said: she went back to the basics and started to loose again. "No snacking, water, exercise and stick with the protein." This encourages me because should I begin to put on weight, I'll know what action to take to stop it. I'm only 4 months out but it is hard to ignore past patterns. (I'd loose weight, then put it on again)
