LoL....I would probably be to embarressed to use it anyways I think I just want it just for the sake of saying I have one and so I dont feel left out...hehehe
Maybe Im weird.. or maybe its because Im a college student and we're always looking for ways to save money... but Im totally not embarassed to use my card. All of my friends and family that I go out to eat with know about the surgery and understand, so its just not a big deal to me to show them my card. I rarely have to use it around home, but when Im somewhere else where not everyone knows me I have to use it.

Ok so I eat out all the time cuz my mom hardly ever has time to cook and neither do I, but Ive gotten to know kids menus at places pretty well. To me, TGI Fridays has the best kids meal, and Chilis has a good one too. They offer steamed veggies, ribs.. all sorts of stuff. Theyre the best two places in my opinion.

I use my card all the time as well. Coco is great you can use it to get senior portions of stuff like fish and broiled chicken.

Also outback steakhouse Joey steak. I know the girls on here love that one.

My husband and I love to go to restaurants that offer tapas menus or that have a good selection of healthy appetizers. We usually order two or three tapas/appetizers to share and make a meal out of those. Lots of "non-surgeried" people do that, so no one thinks anything of it.

Good places for tapas and healthy appetizers are Indigo Grill in Little Italy, Cafe Sevilla in the Gaslamp Quarter, and Rappongi in La Jolla. (There are others, but those three are the ones that come to mind right now.)
