Wink Lil Itsy Bitsy Thang

Dale,

Girlfriend, you gotta hold on! When I saw you from the back at the wedding on Saturday, I thought you were one of the junior bridesmaids! You gotta be buying clothes in the Lemon Frog Department! (For those of you not old enough to remember, Sears used to have a pre-teen section called the Lemon Frog Department!) You're a pretty tiny little woman to begin with, but you're REEEEEALLY itsy bitsy now! Now, seriously, sweetie pie, I hope you continue to improve and get your nourishment. Keep suckin' on those protein drinks and gnawin' on those steaks!

Luckily, you're beautiful no matter what size you are. You have the most beautiful eyes! They're huge and kinda look like a cross between blue and violet--sorta like Elizabeth Taylor's eyes. Just stunning.

Please let me know if I can help you in any way. I always look forward to seeing you. Love you much!

Dale,
You poor dear! You have been through so much lately! Try to rest and get in all the nutrition you can stand. Please let us know how you are doing. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

The vitaminshop has loads of stuff. I was there the other day and they seem to be really helpful and have loads of protein style stuff. The one I went to is in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Five minutes from Dr. C's office. If you are going to the support group tomorrow night you could stop by there before or after and see if they have something to help. Just a thought.

It was good to see you the other day and meet Tino!

I think we have a Vitamin Shop over here right by my house, so I will check it out. I need all of the advice I can get. I am going to the meeting tomorrow night if I have enough energy. I go up and down with my energy levels...good days and then bad days.

Tino was happy to meet you and Karen...now he knows who I am talking about when I say your names.

Dara~

You are so sweet....you are itsy, bitsy in my eyes, too. I guess it is easier for me to see it in others than in myself. Dr. Callery asked me if I see myself in the mirror as thin and I told him sometimes. Some days, I see the old Dale and it is very strange. My mind has to catch up with my body. I do see the bones and can feel them...heck I can't even sit in a chair without sitting directly on my tailbone. I do find that all of the clothes in the store are getting bigger and bigger and I always grab things that are too big for me, so I have a lot of mind altering to do.

Thanks for the compliment on my eyes. I feel blessed to have pretty blue eyes, but envy those with brown eyes. I know, I know.... I am wierd.

Gonna go grab some steak to munch on....got a slab of steak in one hand and protein shake in the other...lol

Amber~

I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers. I am so thankful for your support. Even though you are in Illinois, I feel like you are right next door.

Default update

Well, I guess my body is just gonna hang out at 113 for now. I have been increasing my caloric intake and still staying steady at my current weight. I gained 3 pounds and then lost them the next day. I see Dr. C this week and I think he will be disappointed with me, but I personally think that eventually I will level up a bit. I still have a ton of anxiety over my hernia problems and maybe it is just eating up every calorie I intake. I know that I am still healing inside and that requires extra calories, too. I am just so anxious about everything lately and I am just concentrating on eating good food. Sorry to vent, but I know you all understand. Thanks for listening.

That must be incredibly frustrating for you. I think you are right that you will start to level up a bit once your body is done healing.

Default Here is a picture

This was my hernia. The internal incision breaks apart and the intestines start to pop through. Mine looked like an alien. I called him Herman.
