Unhappy Trying to get back on track

Ok here is goes,
I noticed yesturday my butt seems to be getting bigger. I have been eating high protein but I have snuck some of the carbs back into my diet. I have been trying really hard and only noticed when I couldn't get my dress pants to fasten. I have this wonderful flat tummy now and need to get rid of the butt. I am not allowed to do any abs and need to work on both my butt and legs.
Does anyone know what basic exercise I can do at home to help? I am trying to rearrange my eating plan and only have 1 week of school left so hopefully that will help also. Getting to the gym has been on the back burner since March. I refuse to get fat again and have my reunion next month.

The only exercise I can think of that doesn't involved the stomache that you can do at home is.

Go to walmart and get an exercise band. Yellow is a good color for resistance. Tie a knot at the end and shut the ties end in the door about ankle high. Tie the other end around your ankle. Face the door stand far enough away from the door to get a good resistances and put your leg back do this a bunch of times on each side. You can also to the same thing for arms. Facing both the door and away from the door.

Rubber bands are a cheep way of getting resistance training at home with the door.

Barbara,
Thanks, I have green, blue and red bands from physical therapy I will try those. I refuse to buy pants any larger than I wear now so I better start working on the butt and thighs.

I'm so glad to hear that you are committed to taking care of yourself. Are you sure that you haven't built up some muscle in those areas and that may be the problem? Don't be too hard on yourself. Just get the ball rolling and do some good ol' excercise. Good luck!

Lunges are good for the glutes and legs.

Default Walk, walk, walk

Walk girl, walk...

The best exersize to get that fat off without stressing the abs is walking. You need to burn the fat. If you can't do it outside, do it to walking off the pounds video or just turn on the stereo and walk in place.

Love ya...

Amber,
Trust me it is loose skin and fat that I haven't been able to get rid of yet.

Mary,
I walk all the time. I even park at the far end of the aisle. I'm thinking now that I'm off the pill I will lose some of it.

Katy~
I think I can relate to you, but sorta in a different way right now. I understand your fear and why you wouldn't want to go buy another pair of dress pants. Maybe your weight is just shifting around and it will go back. I know since I had my TT, I can't button my pants and it just makes me cry. Hang in there.

Kathy I do not know of any exercises that would help your situation but I want you to know I am rooting for you. You made a few bad choices in your meal planning but you recognize it and you are ready to change it and that is what counts. I hope your reunion goes as planned.
