Default Happy 2 year Rebirthday to me!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello All,
Today I celebrate 2 years out from wls. Other than the birth of my now 1 year old daughter, this is truly the 2nd best thing that has ever happend to me. I feel great and would not change a thing. I have managed to loose a total of 120 pounds. I did gain 10 pounds after having my baby. I got pregnant shortly after having surgery, but by the grace of God had an uneventful pregnancy. My daughter is healthy and a gift from God. I continue to take prenatal vitamins. My lab work is good. No more cholesterol meds, borderline diabeties, or swollen ankles. The best thing in the world is being able to get down on the floor with my little pumpkin and crawl around, actually stand in the backseat of a two door car and put her in the car seat, fit in an airplane seat, cross my legs at the dinner table, and shop in regular department stores for clothes. Life is good! I must admit that shortly after I found out that I was pregnant, I started grazing and making bad food choices. I'm addicted to chocolate. I did not eat desserts before I had surgery, but now prefer sweet stuff over food. I have been drinking soda and hardly any water. I commit today on my rebirthday to alter my eating habits. I realize that on this day two years ago, at this time, I was undergoing major surgery. I wanted this more than anything at the time. There are so many people who for whatever reasons do not get this opportunity. The least I can do is continue to use the tool given to me and not forget "wear" I came from.(A Size 26 to a size 13/14) I needed to make this committment to this board and not just myself. I truly appreciate Dr. Callery, his staff, and those on this forum who has supported me on this journey.

Tina,

Wow, you're an inspiration. That's so cool that you've maintained your weight. I'll be having surgery soon, and am hoping to lose 130# and keep it off.

Happy re-birthday!
