Here I am again
Hi everyone,
I tell you, it is still a strugle for me with weight. I do well, then I go up again. I seem to be an emoitional eater sometimes, but yet, I still eat better than I did when I weighed over 400 lbs. Even though I have a struggle, emoitionally, I have never felt better. My self esteam is much better. I would never thought I would approuch women, but I do. They seem to find me more atractive, But I also think that feeling better about my self is atractive and people can see the self confidence. It is still a strugle, but i feel almost like I am in my younger years again. Thank you everyone who was there in the beginining and is still here.
Mike

Mike,
Sounds like you've done great. I can't wait to get some of that self-confidence back. I know it makes a real difference in how other people see you as well. I'm only a few months out and already worrying about gaining the weight back. But this site has helped so much through all of my struggles, I'm just glad I found this place. Keep on coming back!!

Michael
I know what you mean about being an emotional eater. There are times it seems I can eat so much...and there are times I can't eat more than two bites of something. I guess it just depends on the day. All I know is that instead of eating all the crap I used to eat...I eat a whole heck of alot healthier. My kids do too.
And about you being a good looking guy...Michael, you know you are! That's why the ladies like you so much! And the self confidence can't hurt!
You know we're all here for you!

Hi Mike,
We passed the Iowa Porker on Friday night at 11 pm from picking up the kid from rollerskate land, wondered if you were there singing.
Good to hear from ya.

Mike,
I believe too that part of it is self confidence and the "vibe" we put off. I am pre-op, but recently got out of a bad relationship. I finally decided that I didn't deserve to put up with that kind of treatment. I had to get to a place where I felt I would either find better or just enjoy life with my friends and family. Since then I have had more interest from guys than I've ever really had in the past. It can't have to do with weight since I'm pre-op! I do know that I will likely find that more men are attracted to me after weight loss, but I think the real answer is a little of both. I'm going to try not to have an attitude when it happens, but honestly, the guys I know now who aren't interested will not get a chance post-op! lol Good luck with the ladies..you sound like a great guy.
Marty

Omg, I haven't had a fried green tomato since I was a child. I loved those things!
