I can relate about the scars....I think about it, too in regard to a thigh lift and skin around the armpits. I have a lot of time to think about it and will have to be mentally stable before I undergo anymore surgery.

Marina,

I am pretty sure already that I will want the breast lift........was it painful? I would use my open line of credit for such an important thing I don't like the way they are now, let alone after weight loss! Firm or perky are words my boobs can not relate to. lol

Marty,

The breast lift was not painful at all (after what we've been through!). As a matter of fact, I hardly felt it. I had the TT and some lipo done at the same time that was quite painful so maybe that's why I didn't notice it.

Marina,

Thanks so much. Yes, I have heard that a TT is extremely painful. I hope to avoid that by lots of exercise and toning, but who knows. I do hope I keep my boob size for the most part. I think it would be weird to lose them. I don't like the way fake ones look though.....too firm...too perfect. Although my boyfriend assured me that HE likes them just fine I think he lost sight of my purpose there for a minute! lol

Talking Kim: Thank You

Kim: I did find the pouch rules for Dummies. I already lost 3 lbs (over the weekend) just by drinking the water and not doing any snacking. I feel full and comfortable (not deprived). Thank you soooooo much. I was really feeling hopeless and now I'm feeling successful again!!!! Jean

I did reach my goal and stayed there for years but only in the last few months found out that I am hypothyroid and now that I am being treated I am losing more weight.

I am concerned that I will now lose too much weight because I was not diagnosed and treated for thyroid disease before my surgery. Has anyone heard of a GB patient in my situation?

I will gladly answer any questions anyone has regarding long term results.

Marina, hey glad you droped by.... stick around you will soon find that these people here have a big heart and a lot of love to give..... I am thrilled that you have kept your weight off for so long. Just the other day I was wondering "I wonder how long the weight will stay off " honestly I guess I was afraid to get too excited.
