"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment." Default May I join y'all?

I saw the thread started last March and thought what a great idea. I just happened upon this one today. I had my surgery last April and have lost 173 pounds so far. I really have about 50 more to go. I'm curious what it will be like when I get there and what I'll need to do to find the balance. I guess everyone is different. I'm excited at the prospect though.

If y'all don't mind an additional face I'd love to join you!

One thing I noticed in the other thread was how y'all were able to pick up on patterns (good or bad) and help each other by pointing those out. I love the ability to just be honest good or bad in telling what you eat too!

I've not had a support group since my surgery. I read a lot but I think jumping in here and getting active could be a good thing for me.
