Bad day yesterday! Still fighting this sinus infection.

Yesterday
32 oz iced tea
1 piece string cheese
24 oz water
popcorn
1 sugar free mini crunch bar

I also had two bites of chicken and a bite of baked beans but got sick so since I didn't keep them down I guess that doesn't count.
Also, I have been going to Curves 6 days a week and today I'll walk 2 miles.

AMber

Babara Jo.. here I am! Life has been little chaotic the past couple of weeks... time to breathe and take care of me! So here I go, in the good foot and totally accountable for my actions!

B: 2 oz cheese, 4 slices thinly sliced turkey, cup of coffee

Thumbs up Back on track

It's been a while, I know... Hernia repair surgery was a nightmare, but I'm feeling stronger every day. I finally had time today to peruse the forum and thank god I found this post - you know I love ya, Bridge!

I had planned to lose some more weight after the hernia surgery - I've been bouncing between 170 and 180 for a while. Pre-hernia surgery, I thought it would be a piece of cake to adhere strictly to the pouch rules and see if I could get down to 160, maybe even 155 - even though that's not my goal, I would like to see what that looks like on me. However, three weeks off of work was more like a vacation than I imagined, so I snacked, ate sugar, and couldn't exercise due to the nasty pain in my midsection. Anyway, I'm feeling better now, but not really motivated to work out... something I need to deal with. I started paying more attention to what I ate and noticed that I could drop a few pounds by just drinking my water and substituting fruit and vegetables for the bad snacks I had been consuming. I was at 171 last Saturday, but Aunt Flow came a calling and this morning I'm at 174. I'm gonna try to check in to this post during the week to keep myself honest and back on track. Here goes:

B: banana and coffee
L: salad with a can of tuna and carrot sticks
D: a meatball and 1/2 c. spaghetti
Later: a glass of wine and probably some figs or mango

Ok I have a question. If this all you guys are eating how can you (me) get all the protein in. I am concerned not judging. Just really concerned.

Like I can talk.....
So far today all I have had is 2 bites of a protein bar that made me sick and 3 bites of a low card turkey sandwich.

I am planning of eating something for dinner but I just got home from work and 12 step and it is almost 10pm. Long, long day.

I did walk for 30 minutes with the dogs and hubby this morning

and about 20 oz of water. Not nearly enough

Always my vitamins.

I have to eat a lot of meat to get protein in and drink a lot with protein boosts. Right now since my hernia repair / TT, I am having a lot of trouble eating period.

Yesterday I ended up eating some homeade soup after posting. So I think maybe for the whole day I had 30 grams and that's pushing it.
