Default TT and what 5 Pounds of skin looks like

Over on the member photos there are some before and after pictures of my TT. Karen posted them for me. There is nothing so personal that can't be shared with 200 of my best friends and family, that in my WLS family!
Thanks Karen

Word of advice? Go ahead and start saving for your TT but hopefully you'll use that money for vacation!! Insurance does approve sometimes (it's a crapshoot like my plastic surgeon says) and I didn't even ask for a TT and they gave me one.. so I'll take it!! LOL

What I am trying to say is make sure you start now documenting any rashes, back pain, any problems with your skin like yeast infections under the folds or whatever.. go to the Dr. (a co-pay is a small price to pay for plastic surgery ya know?) anyway don't just assume you have to pay out of pocket. Give the Insurance company a chance to pay for it.. let them deny you a couple of times before they pay for it. My Insurance deemed it medically necessary to have the skin removed.. sobeit.. I'll take it!!

Thumbs up Christina

Christina,

I definitely will keep track of all of that. I have been watching your progress and your letter was great. Thanks for the advice, hopefully I'll get lucky when the time comes and my insurance will pay.

Cristina,

Good luck on your surgery on Monday. I will say a little prayer for you that everthing works out just the way you want and that you experience as little amount of pain as possible.

You are in my thoughts.
