Wink Knew I held on to my binder for a reason

Well going through some old stuff I found the binder I wore home from the hospital 17 months ago. I can wrap it around me twice but realized I could use it when I wash my new binder I wore home last week from my tummy tuck. I was so glad that it was adjudstable because I really wanted to wash the new one.
Those of you who still have the old one, hold onto it you may be able to use it again after you get all that lose skin removed.

Good call girlfriend. I have been going through all my stuff getting it packed and ready to bring over to our new place so that I don't have so much to do when we get married. I almost threw it away last night, but held onto it because I wanted to compare it with the new one I get for the tummy tuck. Now I have another reason to hang on to it.

Thanks for the info.

Let me tell you, it felt really good to wrap that baby around my belly instead of barely closing it before. I think it is more comfortable than the new one. I also hav a small girdle I plan to wear when the drains come out on Friday. Put my jeans on today. Got tired of too big sweats and all. Make sure you have a couple of sports bras to wear. Absolutely no underwires for 2 months and they prefer you wear a sports bra.

Thumbs up About those bras..

Are they easy to put on? Or do they have some that clasp in the front? Just wondering.. I should probably private message you to get all my questions answered huh? Sorry.. everyone.. LOL

So on a lighter note.. got a call today about a job.. hehehe I have an interview next Thursday.. Yes I am insane!! I told the lady I was having a breast reduction on Monday so I may be in some pain but would be there for sure. She seemed very impressed that I wanted the job THAT Bad!!! YAY!!!! Go Me!!! She said not to worry because as I knew in Hospitals it takes a long time to get through the hiring process and it wouldn't be a problem for me to "heal" before I started there.. YAY!!!!

The one they gave me in the hospital clasp in the front and ontop of the shoulders. It's too big for me. I still had a couple of medium sports bras so I am wearing one. I am almost a week out so not as tender anymore. I just walked up to the store and back just to get out. I will drive tomorrow, my husbands car since it's and automatic.
Christina you are brave going to an interview 4 days after surgery. You are going to be very tired and I am sure wired with drains. Be prepared to have somebody else drive you. although it is never good to take somebody to an interview with you, this is an exception that the interviewer already knows about.
I'll be out there in August looking for a job unless my extern site hires me.

Stuart will take me to the interview. He can wait in the car or in the lobby. They do already know the circumstances and are ok with that. She said I would have plenty of time to heal before I start.. so I am glad about that..only thing is I have to check on one thing to see if a certain someone is working there still.. if so then I will decline the job.. I can't work with psychos!! LOL

What hospital are you trying to get a job with? Are you a MA or what is your title?

I heard Sharp Downtown is looking also. The lady told my husband when she did his blood work a couple of weeks ago.

Default Thanks

Katy,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check it out. I am so excited about getting back into the medical field. I can't wait to start on my RN.

Good luck to you also with your MA stuff.. how exciting that is for you. Isn't life just so fun now?
