My Surgeon's nurse is a post-op patient, I don't remember how many years (it's been a few) that she had it, but she looks wonderfull. She was so nice to me when I went in for my first visit, and redirected my mind from the lap band to gastric bypass, by then I had been considering it anyway after reading some of what people doing lap band have to do afterwards in order to loose the weight. And the more I go, the more I found that the other nurses and staff in his office been there done that.

I do love your reply lol,, did she had a fly go into her mouth when she hanged her mouth whide open? or did she swallowed her tounge? lol

Well congrats,, I can't wait to get there, I am melting quite fast lol.

Loved the comeback, but what the heck was that woman thinking in making such a remark? Apart from snottiness, it also showed stupidity - many bariatric surgeons do other types of abdominal surgeries and it's pretty common to see non-WLS patients in their offices, as well as slim post-ops there for hernia repairs, etc. You could have just been a gall bladder patient, for all she knew.

We should pity the poor thing, really - she may cease being fat after WLS, but the dumb bitch thing will be harder to shake, I'm afraid...

Cindy, my surgery is with Dr. Suh on 4/16. I have been fighting with my insurance since Dec. just to go see him and I finally won.

After I explained to all of the ladies in the office that I was more than 2 years out they were shocked. Then I was their hero for having gone through everything already. Then they proceeded to bombard me with questions, which of course I didn't mind answering. Gosh, you would have thought that the bitchy woman was my best friend now!!!
