Default my wow moment and weight loss

I am now 17 months post op and have some good news. I weighed in this morning and was at 147lbs. Now this is a first for me in such a long time. I weighed 145 when I got married 37years ago (I was 20lbs overweight then) and started to gain on that day!
I was kinda getting discouraged around the first of the year, I was at a stall, or moving down the scales real slowly, then Beth,(miladyB to you guys) put out a invite to her support group to track all your foods. I started tracking, along with my pedometor (I try real hard to get 10,000 steps in a day) I am seeing real success now!
I have been real faithful tracking my days, even if I don't know the counts, just writing it down does help. At first I wasn't eating enough cals, and so when I started to up thoes the weight started to come off regulary. I feel so good when I get in all my steps, and find I can eat almost anything I want, just don't go overboard, thanks to the tracking I am being kept in check! We went to Topika Draft Horse Sale last week, stayed at a motel 2 nights (I even went to the fitness room to walk) and ate out all meals. I did have 4 deep fried mushrooms, I love the darn things, and a large soft pretzel and still droped 2 pounds this week!
And my final WOW moment was when I tried on my friends size 6 jeans and they fit!!!! I wouldn't wear them yet, I did have to lay on the bed to zip, but could get up and breath in them!!! I don't know when I have ever zipped up a size that small!!!
Just had to share with you all, I am sooooooooooooo glad that I had this surgery!!!!
Ann

Ok Ann...you most certainly are kickin' my butt here!!! No fair, I'm no longer the "skinny" one in the bunch!!! hehehehe.

...but putting all my jealousy aside, I'm really SO PROUD of you!!! You are doing awesome and I am so glad that you, Judy and I have each other to keep ourselves on track and accountable.

I'm not seeing the kind of loss you are but I certainly am seeing a loss and I am thrilled with every ounce that drops off.

You know, Ann...at the rate you are dropping you may just see goal BEFORE me!!!

Until later today....Love ya...

and keep up the good work, even if you are making me jealous! hehehe

...oh...and yes, ma'am....I'm behaving myself today!

Congrats! We had our surgeries within a week or so of each other and I was stuck too and just recently saw the scale move for the first time in what seemed like forever.

It rocks!
