Default Anyone else have this problem?

I am almost 3 years post op and I need help gaining some weight back. I was real steady at 118 then the last couple months I started losing again. Now I am down to 103. I still don't have much of an appetite. I have tried adding milk into my diet to add calories but it doesn't seem to be helping. I know it isn't probably the most common problem for this forum but I hope someone can help. I can still go an entire day without eating and feel fine. I have to consiously force myself to remember to eat. Any advice would be great. Thanks Tina

Hi Tina,
I lost a bit more than I was happy with and started adding in a protein bar and for me that worked.
You don't say how tall you are but 103 seems very light. If you continue to lose you probably should see your dr.

Default eating is key

I was able to gain about 6 pounds since Nov. Teh key is you have to eat regardless if you are hungry or not. I'm guessing since you don't eat you dont' get enough protein... get back on that daily until you level off. I ate 6 times a day... breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack and two protein drink...about 150 calories each.

I have one peice of toast daily with butter and peanut butter on it. More fruit if you tolerate it.

the only "diet" stuff I use is in regards to sugar. So salad dressing, mayo, milk half & half, cottage cheese any of that stuff is full impact.

once I gained the 6 pounds I felt better and looked better so I reduced to 3 meals and one snack. any other time I eat friut or veggies to munch on.

My appetite just return like a month ago.... its' been 18 months for me. you are longer out.

how are your supplements?
