Another one here who tends to have keloid scars but no strictures here either. Good question though, Jim.

That is very sweet of you. Just remember though, it won't be the same experience for her as it is for you. Bodies just have a way of doing things "THEIR" way, no matter what. Who knows what will happen with her. Odds are good that she will have an easy go of it. Then again, I thought the same thing...sooooo best to be prepared for Everything. The more you know ahead of time, the easier the pitfalls are if they happen and if there are NONE...all the better! (don't I sound like the stick in the mud>???)

All of my strictures were caused by scar tissue laying itself across the stoma. My surgeon said "scar tissue shows no mercy, it will go where ever it wants or can attach to" I was an over "healer".
I scar so little that I can only locate 3 out of six of my lap scars.I can not even locate the "Tube" hole and that sucker was HUGE!!!!

No strictures for me, and I did have a keloid scar post GBS, but then again, my doc knew I would be back for a TT at my year mark (and I was), so that scar is now gone and is replaced with his artwork. No keloids in the PS scar, but it is still in the process of fading to white...
