Hey,

Does anyone have a "Jump Start Diet" (for lack of a better word) that they have followed? I seem to be stuck and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas....Thanks!

I think it depends on your stage. I have not lost anything for weeks but I hear that upping our excercise by 15 minutes a day and taking in extra protien helps. basically if you can go back to basics. Unfortunately, I can not keep it all in. I take pills everyday and in doing so am lucky if they stay in for 15 minutes before comming back up. The same thing is true for most protien. I keep it in for a little then it is back. The doc says it is not related to the surgery but I have since established that he is a quack and I do not trust him so I m not sure what else to tell you.

Exclamation 5 day pouch test

Hi April

Never tried it myself but am considering giving it a go as I too am on a plateau and have been now for almost a month (and I am only 5 months out ) but I've heard people suggesting the 5 Day Pouch Test

Good Luck

We had surgery around the same time..the only thing that I know of is to really watch your choices, especially carbs. Add in a few extra good quality calories for 2 days and then cut it back to normal. About 200-400 calories. Get in all you water, and it should kick things up a bit. I have read this, experienced it and it worked for me. Key thing is to track the calories very carefully...a bite here and there all adds up.

You can always increase exercise - cardio which never hurts.

REALLY?!?! That is so cool! I didn't know that Roller Derby was still around. I remember watching it with my dad when I was a kid. (But that was a very long time ago! Ha Ha!) As I recall, the Thunderbirds were the crowd favorites back then!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

First off, you are very pretty in your picture. Anyway, please post any diet info for plateaus you come up with. I think I have hit my first one I am 7 months out and down 80 pounds. Thanks again, oh and kick ass at roller derby.
