I'm a newbie here and will probably have lots of questions for awhile. Hope I'm doing this right. I'm 3 1/2 years out, don't live in the same city as my suregeon anymore, so am really glad I found you all.
I've been taking some antibiotics lately that are making me really nauseous, plus One of the antibiotics is a capsule and one is a pill (which I cut in half to take) I seem to remember something about not taking capsules - do any of you have problems with capsules?

Hi and welcome. As I recall we are not supposed to do capsules because they break open and are released too soon into our system, so they aren't as effective as those with regular tummies due to the malabsorption. I could be wrong, but I do recall them being a no-no.

There is a great feature on the top menu bar called "search". Type in any key words you can think of and old posts on the topic will come up.
