Thumbs up Size DOESN'T matter

Hi,

I'm 5'9 and weigh 185, although everyone swears I only weigh about 145-150. I am about as "skinny" as I'll get. I am a large-framed woman. I wear a 14. I have NO fat left on me. At first I was disappointed at the size...but then realized..."WHO CARES"....I'm happy with me, considering I wore weighed 315 lbs. and wore a size 30! Size and weight don't matter as long as you are happy with yourself and you are healthy!

I don't weigh-in anymore - too much stress but I would guess I' m at 215 and I'm 5' 9".

I used to be 280 and wore a size 22. I'm now in a size 16 but I would like to be in a 14.

No complaints because without surgery .. I would be much heavier by now.

Bottoms 24 before Now 12, but just bought a size 10 skirt!!!!

Tops 2 or 3x before Now larges mostly

What an unbelievable feeling to be able to shop in the regular sizes now. Though I still forget most of time and go to the plus area first.

Cassie, I can so relate to forgetting and going to the plus sizes. I remember the first time I could shop at Kohl's in the regular misses sizes, it took me an hour of wandering around the store to figure out how to shop in a dept other than the "women's". Everything was arranges so differently that I didn't know how to find work pants. lol

I'm hoping to get a scale soon so I can find out how much I have to lose from the pregnancy. I'm still in my maternity jeans, though I've gone down from the large jeans to the medium. The only non-maternity jeans I have are sized 8 and 10. I can get the 10's up, but I'm nowhere close to getting them buttoned just yet. I may break down soon and buy some 12's. But, with long enough t-shirts, I can probably just continue to wear the maternity ones. At least they suck the loose skin in close

Smile Haven't posted here in forever!

Might as well start here!

Current: Size 8-10 dress, size Medium tops and bottoms, if they are stretchy, size 10-12 jeans. I have a booty, what can I say?
Size: Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 201
Frame: Small/Petite
Plastics: Not yet! But hopefully will have them this time next year!

Diana

**Just wanted to clarify, offer some advice - I have a tiny torso, with a small waist (28 inches for someone of 200 pounds!) but have larger thighs, but wear wider leg pants and dresses that have an empire waist - and those dresses are an 8 because of my tiny frame size. My advice is to dress for your figure - I will never ever wear skinny jeans, nor will you ever catch me wearing skirts that are more than an inch above my knee because of all the loose melty-looking skin there. Until I get to goal and get plastics, that is!!

size: 32 ..... 28

frame: large (but I have fat wrists )

thanks for giving me something to look forward too!!
My wrists have shrunk since I lost weight - it is very difficult until you get withing spitting distance of goal to even tell - I had a 7.25 inch wrist at my highest of 340 - and now at 200 my wrists are 5.5"... I actually did this test pre-surgery, and because my fingers and wrist were so fat, I could barely touch them together. It is a misleading test. The better test is the elbow bone one, but even that one is hard if you can't find your bones!!
