Exclamation Ok….it is only 5 pounds, BUT>>>>>

I gained 5 pounds over the holidays. And, I just can’t get it back off. I KNOW it is because my eating habits have gone to hell! The problem for me is I don’t suffer from dumping, and I can eat ANYTHING! Frankly, I WISH sugary foods made me puke!

Then, yesterday morning I was up another 2 pounds! (I weigh myself every Thursday morning). So, starting today, I am going on all liquids for the next 48 hours. High protein shakes for each meal and water between meals. (Plus my vitamins) My hope is that this will get me back on track.

Wish me luck….

Good luck! You could also try the 5 day pouch test.

Red face I hope I can do this!

well, it has not been 24 hours yet, and I am Practically gnawing my arm off! I want food.

So far today I have had:
2 protein shakes (7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.)
1 Isopure
3 bottle of water (48 ounces)

I am going to have some tea.

I hope I can make it 48 hours!

Default Yes its only 5 pounds BUT....

Its a good thing you are doing something about it now. I went up 15 at one point and droppped it like a bad habit. Be cautious of "grazing" eating. Plan your meals, and sit at the table and dont eat at the computer. Also, watch the calories you drink. Thats what got me. Make these little changes and Im sure you will see a difference. Yeh we can have waek moments and eat things that arent nutritionally sound, but our bad habits can be where we eat as well. Good luck to ya, cant wait to those nasty 5 are history... again!

I'm pretty much a newbie...but have noticed if my protein drink contains carbs...I want more carbs afterwards! Also, I feel you may be setting yourself up to fail. No food??? I'd add 3 healthful meals and some excercise to what you're already doing.

I could be totally mistaken as a newbie...but this is just my 2 cents

You're not out of line. The diet that she is on right now will drop water weight, and when the food consumption begins the body will grab tight of it because of its fear of going into starve mode again (where it is now). Best thing to do would be have 5-6 mini meals a day. Plan them, no grazing and drink lots of water in between! Right now this is a crash diet, crash diets long term are not good, I wouldnt recommend them.

Newbie, youre a smartie :0 ) Good call on looking at the diet. I, a long termer, over looked it. To me habits are almost more essential to the consumption and I ignored it completely.
