Question about the Reglan. (posted this on another thread but found it here as well, more recently. Thanks for reading)

Seems people I adore and trust here have taken reglan post-op. Brandon's pediatrician prescribed it for me to boost my milk supply. It works REALLY well. Has anyone had any side effects post-op?

Just want to check with my peeps. Messing up the pouch not worth the extra boost if it has bad side effects. So far I havent experienced the manufacturer laundry list of potential side effects. (Depression, anxiety, etc)

Thanks for input!

Is that I am no longer feeling nausea or throwing up at night!!
I take 1-2 about 1/2 hour before a meal and 1-2 about 15 minutes before I start taking my meds & suppliments at night...
What a differrence!

So are you supposed to just take medication forever? I mean I appreciate that it helps but what happens when your kindeys shut down after years of this medication?

I take Zantac daily. When I don't I feel nauseous too. I get reflux type symptoms.
Reglan is a great drug. Glad you are feeling better hon. My guess was reflux and was going to suggest zantac. lol

I guess the Dr's are thinking that they are monitoring my blood every 3-6 months anyway so they will be able to tell me if that is starting to happen.
From everything I've read, it will take quite a few years for that to happen, so I'll take them for a while.
I'm sure I'll try to go with out them sometime in the future...
