Dale,
Just remember that Pomerado is the ER where they completely forgot about me, even though I stepped up twice to see if I would be seen soon. They found me in a corner, unconscious at 6 in the morning, when I checked in at 8:30 at night. Their irresponsibility nearly killed me. Don't take their crap. Why don't you call your PCP and have that doc call them while you are on your way and fill them in?

I am so sorry...how are you today? People at work are dropping like flies...they all have this bug. One guy threw up for 3 days straight. I have been trying all day to keep things down. It is awful. I feel for you.

Take care and hope you feel better.

I didn't know this....how awful. I think they need to re-staff and get some caring, observant, and analytical doctors who really evaluate and listen.....

My pcp is clueless...he forgets that I had gbs...and was against it. I am sorta in a bad position. I am going to see if my pain specialist will call in for me to fill them in next time I need to go. I am now able to keep fluids down. Hopefully, I can catch back up and get rehydrated. If I am still nauseous tomorrow, I am going to my pcp for a phenegran injection or something similar to help me out and he will prescribe me with something to calm my tummy.

Thumbs down Still sick

I don't get it. I am still sooooo nauseaous and can't seem to feel well. It is getting on my last nerve. I can keep some fluids down and crackers, but that is it. The nausea is so bad that I can't even do a thing. I just want to lay and do nothing, but there is so much to do.

I take kids chewable Pepto and it seems to help for a short time. My doc is calling in Compazine. I hope it helps.

What to do???? Does this sound normal for 1 week? Nurses, what do you think?

It doesn't seam normal to me. you should be able to keep fluids down. your a bit early for crackers but the fluids should be fine. I never got sick on them.
