You haven't gained all your weight back, and if you commit yourself to it, you can get back down much more easily than I can right now.

You are a successful loser. Don't tell yourself anything else than that, you have rid your body of an enormous amount of weight. You deserve to keep that accomplishment. You deserve to treat yourself with pride and joy.
Please stop beating yourself up. You have done unbelievably well -- after 4 years you have only gained back a little weight.

Nancy,

Where have you been all my life. I could accomplish anything if you kept saying such positive and powerful words to me. You are not far from me because you are in San Diego and its only an hour away. I will be with you through your pre-op and post op if you like. Thanks, friend!

Good to hear from you brother. On July 31st, myself and Kim aka Watergirl are organizing a picnic out here in La Jolla at La Jolla shores..... we would love it if you could come.

Quick question, do you drink beer? Just curious.

On another note, I started a thread called get on the good foot again, I am up 8 more pounds than I would like to be, and I am logging what I eat, I am horribly honest about it all too.... you should join me and othersin recording what you eat every day, how much water you are drinking and activity you are doing, its amazing when you sit down and reflect about it all, you become more aware of the good things you are doing, and the areas you are lacking where you could do better...... check it out. Its one small track to getting you back on track and on the good foot.
There are alot of folks on this board that live in your area, one of y'all should start up a monthly suport group.. or weekly meet up to do some walking together..... its a good thing!
Stick around kid, we'll take you places!

I read a quote today, and I thought of you, here it goes;

" Whatever picture you paint in your mind, the mind goes to work to complete it... Believe me, if you will think about what it is you want to become all day long, great things are going to happen in your life. Keep your goals posted on your desk, your refrigerator, your bathroom mirror and your car visor so that you are reminded all day long of your goal. .... Yu can do anything in this world that you want to do. "

You have your tool, all is not lost... lets work together. What do you think?

Reg, can you please start taking your vitamins? they are absolutely essential to maintaing your health now... its not an option to quit them once you have had WLS, they ae a requirement...... can you start that right now to say the least? I am worried for you by not taking them.... please?

Hello Bridgetgirl,

I would love to come to the picnic in July to meet you guys. I am going to take my vitamins. I have already taken one for tonight. You are wonderful and thanks for hanging in there with me. I must go to bed now, work awaits at 3.30am in the morning. Goodnight.

Also, yes I drank beer. Would you like for me to bring some to the picnic?

No, no no silly boy... it has been my experience while on this board, that when males speak of weight gaiin, they usually consume more than just an occassional beer.... just an observation. Can you quit the beer?

Sweet dreams, good night dont let the bed bugs bite!

Hello Bridgetgirl,

I could not stop laughing at no, no, no silly boy! Yes, I can quit the beer, but the weight gain has come from eating the wrong, heavy-calorie laden foods. You are just too good to be true. I am now taking my vitamins, again. Thanks for your support.
