Default long term normalcy

are there any "dinosaurs" on here that still have issues or is everyone pretty "normal". im sure thats a common question that you have answered 500 times. i apologize. im preop and really scared about how drastic it is to get my plumbing rerouted and that the long term affects will be years down the road except the obvious good health effects.

Is 2 yrs. out prehistoric enough? I am pretty "normal". Carppy food still makes me feel crappy, but I'm grateful for that. I have to take supplements every day, but I used to take blood presure meds every day and was working towards glucophage. Fair trade if you ask me!

I feel normal and healthy. To me the hardest thing was the first month after the RNY. Today I have to watch my habbits more than anything else. I can fall into bad eating (eating at night or junk) other than that if I went to dinner with you and you did not know I had an RNY you wouldn't guess it. Portion control is what I live by and the gym i love the gym.

I'm two years out too-I'm still having a problem with grazing-I just want to put something in my mouth ALL the time...GRRRRRRRR.
So-watching those snacks is still on my radar but I think I eat pretty normally now. Normal for a skinny person, not for the fatgirl that I was.
