Default Skin conditioning

I am wondering what you all are doing to help your skin fit your new bodies. I know that in younger women the skin will shrink back a bit with you. I have thick skin and am thinking about spending a bit more on soaps and things to help it shrink to the best of its ability. Any brands you really like. Oh to have the elastin of a 20 year old. My facility will do a tummy tuck after about a year but i am concerned about skin issues before then.

Exercise helps a little....mostly by filling some of the space with muscle......other than that.....basically surgery, although lotion and creams may help slightly by keeping it healthy and hydrated.

For me, all the exercise in the world didn't shrink my skin.....I had PS to remove the worse of the looses skin. It's still a little squiggly in the arms and thighs. I'm not 20 anymore and don't expect that my skin will by as taut. I am satisfied with the outcome of my PS.

i posted a similar thread like this yesterday in the regular post op section. My skin is really bumming me out big time, i am just about a year out and have lost around 112 pounds, and my tummy and legs, and boobs are just a mess of wrinkles. I can't afford plastics right now, but I want my skin to be toned!!! I am excersising but not seeing much of anything. I can see me getting really depressed over this!

I already had loose skin so with a 35lb weight loss prior to surgery, I had to invest in my first pair of Spanx pretty quickly.

I just smother on lots and lots of lotion - if I don't, I get a little itchy.
