Cool I wonder...

I'm curious if anyone else goes through this.

One day I had my usual english muffin and half cup of coffee, then about 10am was out with hubby and we stopped at a taco shop. I ate an entire chicken taco and two bites of beans. Then a few weeks later same exact scenario exept this time I could only choke down half the taco and no beans. Why is it somedays I can eat way more then others? No dumping issues or nything ike that, just capacity. Does our capacity change from day to day? A ponderance....

I have no answer, but have asked the question myself. I don't know how our capacity could change.

Default I asked my surgeon about this

He shrugged and said, "Yea - thats pretty typical". So I don't think they know why, (At least he wasn't talking) but it seems very common and nothing to worry about at least.

Happens to me daily. Some days I can eat more than others, and more at one sitting. Not sure of the whys though. Janie

Maybe it has something to do with how much you have already eaten that day or did you drink a lot the 2nd time and not the first. I notice as the day wears on I can eat eggs better. Breakfast isa a big no-no but at dinner I can eat half of one comfortablly...

Good ponder question!

I go through the exact same thing...It worries me when I can eat a lot, and then in a matter of days - there is NO WAY I can eat all that...crazy and scarry at the same time!

I know lately when dealing with the belly swelling, it effects the amount of food that I can eat....one bite too much and I see it all over again. Didn't have that since early out in GBP. I guess its a good reminder for me that I still have the tool.

My intake was exactly the same on each of those days. I wish each day was a limited capacity day as this far out I worry about things. I seriously hate the fact that I can eat anything I want, and dumping isn't a issue for me since all I have to rely on as far as WLS goes is my limited capacity, so you can understand why this sort of thing might give me pause... lol

I am in the same boat. The days I drink more are the days I can fit less food in. Hmmmm weird............
