Default colo and endo scopy fun!!!

Well today I had an endoscopy and an colonoscopy.
First I would like to say....big hype for no big deal!!!

My hemaotolgist ordered this months ago and I post poned it untill she chewed out and threatened me. With that said, the gasto doing the procedure today, took one look at me and said "I disagree with your hematologist that you need this procedure, you are fine and I am going to find nothing"
Great I said lets skip it...."NO" he said.
o.k. little burning in the I.V. he says and then I hear the nurse say, time to wake up, all done!
dang...all that worry for nothing...then the doc comes in and says, "found nothing, just like I thought!!"
I do have a breif memory of gagging during the insertion of the endo scope, but barely sure it was real, maybe I dreamt it?

So to all who are stressing this procedure...no big deal!!
Also...I don't need another one for 10 years...woooohoooo!!!

P.S. My hematologist wanted to rule out bleeds or tumors causing my iron problems...nope not there, not my girls parts, not any whee they have poked and probed, maybe this is just me!!

I was supposed to check in at 10:30 and was scheduled for procedure at 11:00, however, I arrived at 10:10 a.m. I was alredy prepped and ready for procedure by 10:30. Awoke around 11:15 and on my way home by 11:45.
Ate lunch in a lovely little restaurant in Encinitas, went shopping and never skipped a beat!!
(my hubby was my chauffeur...)

Rain, I'm glad everything went well! Even though you made it through like a breeze, I still think you get a medal for bravery!
