Now I stayed in the hospital for two nights - those first two days were of course, the big ones for pain and learning to negotiate the drains and such. After day one, I didn't need any help going to the bathroom - you just move really slowly. Take everything very easy, because not using your abs is very difficult. Also, learning to negotiate those drains when you're changing or sitting down on the toilet - takes a few times. Dressing was the biggest issue, but again, I only needed a little help. I think DH held my underwear still while I held the drains and stepped. So not anything too crazy - and I had 4 drains - bet you'll only have two.

So - take it as it comes. Could be worse than you imagine or nothing or anything in between. If you take your pain pills in advance, you won't end up a sniveling crazy woman. You'll be able to guage it. At first, I knew darn well when 4 hours was up. By the third day I would look up and say, Oh - its been 5 hours and I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable. That is when I switched to tylenol.

ANYWAY - you will figure it out. Everyone is different. It isn't like the GBP - you shouldn't need help on the potty. No one I know whose done this has. And I had a belt so really - you'll be fine I'm guessing. No picnic, of course, but it passes quickly.

I have not had any plastics yet but really, really want them. One thing to consider with the implants. EVERY one I know who have had surgery has complained afterward that they wish they were bigger. If they are under the muscle they will be a bit smaller than what they look like as just an implant. When I had a consult with a surgeon she said she would fill them up and additional 50 cc's because they were going under the muscle. I don't know from personal experience but just thought I would share.

ok i am doing much better today - its been a week i feel like the boobs are to big actually and the swelling has gotten to me the last few days...i ave felt depressed and fat and just gross -
i ws not able to go pee alone for almost 5 days which is gross really with the drain into the top of your pubic area but it was just to much for me to get the panties off without someone holding it in the front and me holding it in the back! lucky me i have a great boyfriend i quickly got over the shy dont want him to see me looking pathatic stage and i asked for his help he ws amazing! and my mom helped too when she was there which was nice

now i felt like i could handle more and wish my boyfriend would touch the boobs and lighly rub me...but he says i am still scary and he is afraid he will hurt me like i am breakable kinda cute actually

but of course i was depressed over it and cried for almost 2 days....pathatic huh - well he got mad and sai i was making him feel guilty so i needed to get over that immidetaly! which i did i had a friend come hang out with me who even though he is married with 3 kids always says i am hot and that he is amazed i look even better cuz he didnt think it was possible so that lights up my day than i went and got my nails done - i am tired now and a little sore but not crying not needing him to make me feel beauiful tonight when he gets home just as usual i will be happy to see him and get a hug and a kiss from hm cuz i love him

so on the boobs i think they may be to big after hearing a lot of people say they wished they went bigger i ended up going 2 sizes bigger on the day of surgery - i started with a 390 implant planned on filling to 500 but the day of surgery we went to a 450 implant filled to 600 doc said i would have had sr
winkles if i hadnt but they are under the muscle and i can only hope they will go down cuz i didnt want to be bigger than a d now i think i will be a DDbut i am happy i have it behind me i just cant wait to stand upright and feel skinny again

I think you will be ok. Most of friends who had them done first thought oh they are big. But after the swelling went down and the "girls" settled they were like "Iwish I went bigger". So on that note enjoy them and see where they end up!

Sorry I missed this thread. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and adjusting well. I just had a friend do 400cc on her small frame and most girls wish they had went bigger after the swelling go's down. So after you heal up you will prolly love your boobs just the way they are.

The drains are a pain to deal with unfortunately thats just part of it. Glad you have someone there who loves you and can help you with whatever you need. Listen to your surgeon's advice but, whenever you are cleared for any certain kind of exercise do it. It will help in your recovery just like it helped in weightloss and muscle gaining.

Once again sorry I missed the this thread. Best of luck to you in the future and be sure to post some after pics once you are all healed up. We have alot of people doing plastics around here lately and its been nothing but, a flood of info. Take care and congrats on your new body.

i am doing better everyday i am a little depressed because i dont feel great i am frustrated that i am not out and about but its not just the tummy tuck or the boobs i had a uvp - they remove the tonsils, shrink the uvula and tighten up the soft pallet all so you wont snore - and let me tell you my throat is so much worse than my tummy tuck...my throat is super swollen and i cant swallow without pain

and my boyfriend is a great guy buy he doesnt baby me like my x husband would so i think it makes me depressed i know he is just trying to push me to me tough as i am usually tough but i want to be babied right now cuz it hurts!

thank you - i need a hug.... actually what i really want is for him to just lay next to me and tell me he is sad i am hurting and he wishes he could make it better AND WHEN I POUT i want him to kiss me and mostly i want him ti feel my boobs afterall i got the size he wanted which i think our to big and he has barly touched them....

it so different my x husband is such a different person than my boyfriend and on every other level my boyfriend and i are so much more compadable and i love being with him i love everything he believes in and i love everything he does we like to do the same things outdoors and inside for the most part we are not just sit on the couch and watch tv people we both barly watch tv.....my x major tv junkie didnt like to be outside didnt like the outdoors stuff would make me feel guilty for things i liked to do with my parents...but when it comes to babying me taking care of me when i am sick or hurting my x is the best he will do anything and everything for me our 1st date i threw up on him and he was still chasing me afterwards...i dont think my boyfriend would have ever spoke to me again if i threw up on him on the 1st date....but the x has helped me through cancer and the gbs surgery and so many illnesses that he had lots of experience on how to take care of me and how i get sad and just want him to lay with me so i can sleep cuz when he wasnt near me i felt sad and couldnt sleep good cuz i would want to be up with him...now my poor boyfriend has been through a lot with me in only a few months....we started dating april 7 i had my gallbladder out along with a liver biopsy for cancer april 27th than aug 23rd was the tummy tuck and boob job followed a week and half later sept 4th i had the tonsil and uvp done but he hasnt had to take care of me much cuz my parents stepped up as i was super sad and hey knew i was losing it and making him feel guilty and no one should feel guilty but i am hurting and sad! i felt desperate and needed to snap out of it!

so i got dressed and we went to sushi...it slides right down and didnt hurt to much last night - i attached a photo of my first night out with the "girls"

they seem huge to me but the dr did say they will take at least a month to drop into place and than i will know what size they will end up but over all i am feeling DD i didnt want to be above a c but agreed to a D now with the 450 implant filled to 600 i am thinking DD i dont think i would feel so sad about them if my boyfriend touched them more and was interested in them..but i swear i think he touched them 2 maybe 3 times and only once was it a romantic sexual feeling which makes me sad

my x has seen them and he would be all over me i would have to hold him off if he had the chance...so it is very different and very hard sometimes...any suggestions?

hi everyone.. i am in the early stages of thinking about getting plastic surgery, mainly a breast life, but also saggy skin on legs and tummy.. is there a thread on here that talks about the costs of the surgery and if and what any insurances cover? thanks! mindycure@hotmail.com
