Default 3 years out

Well, tomorrow is my 3 year Re-Birthday. I am very emotional and have been thinking all day about the journey and how my life has changed. I have been through so much since the day I was rolled out of the ER...numerous surgeries in the last 3 years, all of which I do not regret. If anyone came up to me and asked me if I would do it again considering the daily pain and struggles, I say I wouldn't change a thing. Knowing what I know now, I would do it every day if I had to.

I have an awesome life. I wish I did this surgery years ago. I may have pain from the plastic mesh issues that I have, but the health I have is so much better than how I felt MO. Not only did I gain a new life and my health back, I have gained a family of friends across the states that I am so grateful and blessed to know.

Thank you Dr Callery for the tool that you have given me and the support that you offer online and at the office. You are an amazing person and I have so much gratitude and respect for what you do. You truly care about helping others and take pride in your profession.

Thank you all for always listening and supporting me. It has been the best 3 years of my life. All I can do is say best wishes to all of the newbies....you are on your way to a wonderful, new life.

Happy Birthday! Your post is inspiring.

Can you talk more about the plastic mesh issues and the daily pain?

Happy Re-birthday. Today is my 2nd year post-op. Even though I am not as far as I had hoped, everyday I am working onmaking it to my goal. I have come to far to turn back now. Your courage and strength gives me hope for that day I reach my mini goal of 250. Big Hugs on your re-birthday, our re-birthday.
