For those of us who are just egtting started (my surgery is in a month), it is reassuring and encouraging to read posts like this. Its so nice to see people so far out who are maintaining such a significant weight loss, and not gaining back. Congratulations on your progress and your success!!!

Can I ask why you had several surgeries?

Thanks for your posting!

If anyone came up to me and asked me if I would do it again considering the daily pain and struggles, I say I wouldn't change a thing. Knowing what I know now, I would do it every day if I had to.

I have an awesome life. I wish I did this surgery years ago. I may have pain from the plastic mesh issues that I have, but the health I have is so much better than how I felt MO. Not only did I gain a new life and my health back, I have gained a family of friends across the states that I am so grateful and blessed to know.

Thank you Dr Callery for the tool that you have given me and the support that you offer online and at the office. You are an amazing person and I have so much gratitude and respect for what you do. You truly care about helping others and take pride in your profession.

Thank you all for always listening and supporting me. It has been the best 3 years of my life. All I can do is say best wishes to all of the newbies....you are on your way to a wonderful, new life.
Happy Re-Birthday! Ever since I joined this wonderful forum family 8 months ago, I always look forward to your posts. Your outlook is so positive, no matter what you are going through. I always pray that your pain and plastic mesh issues can be resolved very soon. Once again, happy 3 year re-birthday!

Default Happy re-birthday!

Dale, dear, your voice is one I turn to on this forum constantly. You seem to have taken that adage to heart of "if you can't say anything good, say nothing at all." You feel you lean on us when you're in pain, but I hope you realize that we lean on you without ceasing, because you are such a source of joy for all of us, a quiet space at the heart of the forum.

There are times I cannot believe I haven't met you in person--you are more real to me than most. Happy re-birthday.

Oh my.............I almost missed this thread!!! A big Happy Re-Birthday to one of the best on the planet. I love ya girl and am so very thankful to have found you. What a day of reflection and gratitude. BTW, my lazy behind has not even gotten around to thanking you for the adorable panties you sent. Pete got to open them this time.....he can recognize the envelopes now and laughs when he finds them in the mail. Oooops, off subject......congrats Dale on your journey and all your success!!

Happy 3rd, Dale. I'm glad to hear that you are doing so well--it was pretty touchy for a long time there.

I wish you continued success and happiness with your life and health!
