For those of us who are just egtting started (my surgery is in a month), it is reassuring and encouraging to read posts like this. Its so nice to see people so far out who are maintaining such a significant weight loss, and not gaining back. Congratulations on your progress and your success!!!

Can I ask why you had several surgeries?

Dale, dear, your voice is one I turn to on this forum constantly. You seem to have taken that adage to heart of "if you can't say anything good, say nothing at all." You feel you lean on us when you're in pain, but I hope you realize that we lean on you without ceasing, because you are such a source of joy for all of us, a quiet space at the heart of the forum.

There are times I cannot believe I haven't met you in person--you are more real to me than most. Happy re-birthday.

Oh my.............I almost missed this thread!!! A big Happy Re-Birthday to one of the best on the planet. I love ya girl and am so very thankful to have found you. What a day of reflection and gratitude.

BTW, my lazy behind has not even gotten around to thanking you for the adorable panties you sent. Pete got to open them this time.....he can recognize the envelopes now and laughs when he finds them in the mail. Oooops, off subject......congrats Dale on your journey and all your success!!

Dale, happy re-birthday little one!!! You have had such a rocky journey and have kept your little chin up thru it all. I can't believe it has been 3 years already, seems like just yesterday doesn't it? Hugs and high fives coming your way girlfriend!!!
