Default Who suffer light headedness??

How many of you out there have light headedness, tingling in hands and feet, sometimes blurry vision? All my labs are perfect, but still have some of this happening. Janie

well it depends when it is happening. My hands fall asleep easily and when I stand I almost pass out due to a drop in my blood pressure. I get a blackout and it is scary. I have been totally checked out and what MY problem is ... NOT enough salt! I have to make sure that I dont drink caffeine (which washes the water out) and drink Gatorade. Basically without the salt I get dehydrated and that is what happens.

Zemonia has this too!

I had this about three weeks out from surgery and Dorene loaded me in the car. She took me to the GP and they had me lay on the table then sit and then stand up. I almost fell on my face. While I was doing the laying down, sitting, and standing they had me on a heart monitor with blood pressure. My blood pressure was to low so they had to reduce the meds I was taking. It helped but if I get up to quick I still have to wait a minute before walking anywhere.
Take Care

My blood pressure does this to me too, I have to keep my fluids and funny enough my salt intake and it helps a great deal. I know others that eat more frequently (ie: 4-6 times a day) vs. 3 times. I don't do that as it causes me to graze.

Default have a theory

I posted this thread as I was curious how many have this problem. I think it's caused by the lack of absorption and vitamins. Even though my labs are normal, when I switch from pill form vitamins to liquid vitamins the symptoms leave and go away. So that is my two cents. Janie

Yep. I have the same problem. I've had the tilt table test and all kinds of other tests, there's "nothing" wrong with me. My surgeon said that he is currently writing a paper on this topic. He told me to salt everything.
