Default 1 Year!

Well on Friday it will have been 1 year since my surgery. I just can't belive it!! It really feels like it was just yesterday. I haven't been around much recently, and for that I am sorry!! I don't know where I would be today without everyone here. I know I have said that before, but it just seems so unreal to have people you have never met care so much about each other. The 'Guys' (The Alex Skolnick trio) will be helping me celebrate tomorrow (yes a little early, but I have to work on Friday). So Pittsburgh will be rocking

Here are just a few 'observations' of what everyone here has helped me accomplish in the last year:
1 year ago vs. today
  1. I wore a size 28 jeans, and they were skin tight, yesterday I had one a size 18 and I didn't have to unbotton them, they just slide off!
  2. I worked 8 hours a day and was so tired, I would just go home and sit in the chair - today, I work 8 hours in the office, 2 or 3 hours with the bands, and can't even remember what color the chair is!!
  3. My idea of a 'cute' outfit was whatever someone else was wearing - I bought a denemim mini skirt, rather 'sheer' blouse, and a red lace bra!! (Yes I will post a picture)
  4. I never rode a public bus unless it was life or death - I can and will go anywhere on public transportation
  5. I got and kept a job that allowed me to sit most of the time - I have a job I like, and allows me time to do what I like and have a life
  6. I had no life - I HAVE A GREAT LIFE!
  7. I spent 6 - 8 months out of the year depressed - I have a bad day once in a while, but they are few and far between
  8. I could order a large pizza for dinner, to be deliverd of course, and eat it - I ordered a small, picked it up and threw the other 1/2 away when I couldnt' finish it in 5 days!
  9. Everything I wore was black - I bought a red bra!!!
  10. My parents worried about me being depressed and alone - My parents worry about me getting lost on another 'road trip with the boys'
  11. I had a few friends, 1 real close one - I have friends everywhere! and I love it!!!
