Default Going back to the pouch rules

HI Again,

Going back to the pouch rules - does this work for others? No since in trying something that may not work. FOr one I know I have been guilty of snacking and so, I am thinking the going back to what I should be doing is KEY to getting back on track. I want to do this before my weight gain gets out of hand. Does anyone have any further recommentations, other than totally going back to the original pouch rules or should I just eat a modified atkins diet that has portion control and is also low fat?

I just learned of the "pouch" rules. I truly didn't know there was such a thing until I started coming to this web site. (I didn't go through a BTC for WLS). I have learned alot and hope to gain even more knowledge. Wish I could help. I am very interested in what others have to say. I'm almost five years out and toy around with about 5 pounds, but I never have gotten below 124. I hang around 130. I should be around 110 as I'm only 5'nothing. I would still like to drop a few more pounds, so I'll be reading right along with ya! Rooting for ya! Best of luck.

This is what works for me, (being almost 3 years post op) protein first, veggies, then fruit: usually no room for carbs. So, Atkins, yes sort of. Everyone is different, find what works best for you. What is wrong with a modified atkins if it works (for you) and is healthy?

I also eat about every two to three hours. These are healthy/planned snacks really. Cucumbers with anything, celery with peanut butter, almonds with raisins, but small amounts. Meal time, protein, veggies, fruit (most of the time).

Anyone that was camping this weekend, rules did not apply!!!! LOL! And before I get slammed, we were surfing and earned our rewards!

At 5' nothing you shoudl not be 110... that would make you skin and bones chika!... I"m very skinny at 5'3" and 119 pounds.
