Default I am about 5 years out ready for Plastic Surgery

I have worked out and lost all I can. I am ready for some professional help. I want a tummy tuck, boob job and thigh lift. I need help from you guys in finding a good surgeon. I am gonna have to pay cash so the insurance thing doesn't matter. I live in Temecula but anywhere in So. Cal is fine if I can find a good surgeon. Does anyone have any recommendations and/or "don't even considers". I could really use your help. Thanks,Cynthia

I would personally recommend Dennis Thompson in Santa Monica. I worked for him for two years and can honestly tell you he's one of the best! He's been president of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society as well, and IF memory serves, I believe he was also on the board of the American Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at one time. He's very involved in training other surgeons in some of the teaching hospitals too.

Plus, he's not only an excellent surgeon, he's also a wonderful, WONDERFUL person!!!

I do not know, though, if he's doing the thighs now (I don't remember if he was doing them back then even)... you'd have to ask. Here's his website:

There are several wonderful ones around here. I went to Dr Gilbert Lee and I know a few that have gone to Dr Mofid (sp?) and have had wonderful results. Just do as much research on them as possible. Look for those who have done a lot of WLS patients because they are more in tune with our needs. Good luck

Dr Philip Humber in Encinitas by Scripps Memorial Hospital. I have been to Dr L. McCarthey and Dr Dennis Nigro for PS, but like Dr Humber the best. He is realistic and I had excellent results.

I went to J. Timothy Katzen. I love my tummy tuck, not thrilled with the thighs, although its better than the rolls I use to have.

www.bodybykatzen.com he is in Beverly Hills and Orange County. He does free consults, tell him Bridget sent ya!!!

I really love my doctor. Dr. Bolitho, in La Jolla. He is kind of expensive, but to me I am really happy.

I posted a pick of my tummy. This is the link: Peircing poll

I lost around 130 pounds and had partial lower body lift at 15 month post op. He does contouring with it, (lipo) which not all docs do, but I liked it cause I got smoothe and flat results even though he only sucked out 1/2 litre. 3 pounds of skin removed from abdomon.

He is very patient, he listens and really cares. Easy on the eyes, also!!

Good luck, ask lots of questions and do your homework!
Know what you want, be realistic and let them do there magic.

BTW, it is more painful than WLS, so prepare your self.

Default Hi I am investigating PS also

Hi!

There has been some good information in reply to your question and I would like to add that I have been to 2 consults - 1 with Dr Mofid who I really like and feel really listens, and 1 with Dr. Soltero, who seemed okay and I am interested in how he does his procedures - less cutting, maybe? I have another consult next week with a Dr. miller.

I am planning on a full body lift, my arms, thighs and breasts, so it is a major overhaul and very scary.

I would be interested in hearing about other's plastic surgery experience - what the results were and are there procedures that you would or would not do? Also - what is the recovery time and pain - realistically? Has anyone used these docs that I have been to consults for?

What other information have you received privately from your post? Maybe we can talk and collaborate on this!

Thanks!

Ann
