Default How much did you lose with a TT?

I'm trying to get down to 200 pounds but I can't seem to get any lower than 218. I eat right (at least I think so) and workout a lot. So I wanted to know how many pounds was taken after the surgery.

Thanks in advance.

Default My experience

I actually gained 5 pounds after my surgery. I've since lost it but it took a good 5 months. It was fluid I'm sure, but I didn't lose any weight from skin removal. I didn't have a whole lot to remove though, I think my pregnancy did more damage then weight.

4lbs, that's it. I didn't have a lot to begin with, but I still had an "apron."

Nothing.

I came out weighing more than when I started dispite the fact he removed 3 pounds of skin!

In time I was able to get back down to my pre surgery weight. Of which I am still trying to get below!!!

I had 8.5 lbs removed and came out of the hospital weighing 3 lb less than when I went in. That was 9 weeks ago. Today I have lost 14 lbs from my pre-tt weight.

I think this is such a varied thing. Afriend of mine actually had 27 lbs removed. I'm not sure if it actually took that uch weight off on the scale. I won't know, because I am adding breasts....so maybe it'll even out.

I had a lower body lift and they removed 12 pounds of skin, my weight is only down about 8 pounds right now, but I am still swollen, I just had the surgery not even three weeks ago.

I had 7 lbs skin removed, added 1.5 with silicone, and gained 16 lbs in water weight....I was 120 going in, I hover 115-120 now. I did lose 4 inchs off my waist and 6 inches off the hips...so i don't particular care about the weight...I still fit into size 2/4 or junior 3.

Default Thank you all

Thank you all for the response! I really do appreciate it a lot. I'm using fat burners right now, in hopes to lose more fat. But at the same time, with more fat loss comes more loose skin. I have this a lot in my mid-section. I try to take in at least 200 Grams of protein nowadays and it's hard.

I plateaued for a few months (Jan - March 2006 @ 230) and was able to drop more weight after adding more cardio and higher protein intake. I was able to get more definition in my arms and legs. I'm so scared to gain my weight back.

You guys are the best and I am so glad that I am not alone in this journey to stay healthy and fit. Do you guys think my goal weight is realistic?

You're goal weight of 200? I think that's absolutely attainable! Heck my goal weight for my surgeon was 150! I'm down to 127, and that was just lately, i've actually lost 6lbs since my TT on Sept 21st so I'veupdated it.

Never in a 1000 years would I have ever think i'd be this errr....light? lol Problem is now keeping my weight on! ugh! I have to start going to the gym and prolly upping my protein just to get some "tone" in my arms and legs and not lose anymore, and even though I know muscle weighs more than fat i'm going to be paranoid seeing that scale inch up! lol
