i had my first fill today and i dont feel any different im not having any trouble getting food down i also had my first app post op and have not lost any weight its been 3 weeks since my op
they put in 6mls today what has everyone else gotten the first time round?

I was banded 8 weeks ago now and had my first fill last week of 6.5ml and I have great restriction , have lost 4 pound since my fill .
Can u tell me on a daily basis what you are eating ?
I know we are all different and i here sometimes it takes 3 or 4 fills to get good restriction , I guess Im one of the lucky ones with the band .
Since my pre op diet and band I have lost 43 pound .
Are u getting enough fluids in ?
Are u grazing throughout the day ?
Id like to try and help u all I can , If I can do this U CAN !!!!!!!!!!!!

first fill 24.11.08 =6.5cc

Second fill 29.01.09=1 ml

10ml band filled to 7.5 ml ....

I love my band ! 5 stone gone thats 70 pounds

Awaiting third much needed fill ......

You said you got it done that done but food's going down fine.
Aren't you back to liquids for 48 hrs after the fill?

Hey Jess, I just had my first fill yesterday and they put in 4cc's after telling me that during surgery they put in 4cc's as well. Soooo I have 8cc's and I honestly think it's too much. I'm on liquids for 24 hours but I think I might transition back to normal food over a 3-4 day period as I feel like 24 hours and then going back to normal food isn't right for me.

i had my first fill today so i now have 4 mls they wantewd to put 5 but i felt a bit unsure nervous so they opted for 4. im going to be on liquids only for the next 3 days and will not have ''normal'' foods till the 7th day
(YAY maybe ill drop a dress size haha )

anyway after reading all the above posts im thinking that maybe i should have had more !!!!!! i feeling cheated now
