Fill Problems
I had my band filled on June 4, 2008. My doc put in 2cc. I did not start having problems until I started drinking. Anything I drank would feel like it was getting "hung" in my esphogus. I, at first, thought it was because I was getting use to the new adjustment. However, the pain continued, even after I went back to eating more solid foods. I could not eat anything or drink anything without have the pains in my back area. I went back to the doc on June 11 and he removed 1cc from the band and it was a tremendous help. I now have no problems eating or drinking.
However, during that one week I lost 13lbs. Some might say this is good, but I was getting hardly any nutrition from foods and getting dehydrated. So, if you are getting the constant "hanging" feeling after getting adjusted, you may want to have a talk with your doc about remove a small amount to see if it helps.
One other note...I had my band put in on August 27, 2007. Since then, I have lost 84 lbs.
