Default Egg Beaters

I tried them for the first time yesterday, and I'm really surprised on how good it tasted! It's the southwest flavor, and again, I'm really impressed with it. Can't wait to try the other "flavors".

I really like the boca burgers as well. They make, er, made a great sandwich for me. One burger patty, a slice of cheese and mustard on a bun or bread and I'm ready to go.

I had Egg Beaters when I was on the Curves 'higher protein' diet. They ARE quite good aren't they, and I am a picky eater.

I used to gross out my co-workers by 'scrambling' them in the microwave! Hey, still tasted good to me along with some cheese sprinkled on them, yummmm.

Totally agree.. egg beaters are fantastic. I normally just buy the regular ones then scramble them with shredded cheese.. but I even got my hubby to start eating them! He probably wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't said something...lol

I know.

I've cut out all bread two weeks ago, and it's kind of wierd - I don't really miss it, and I LOVE bread, especially sourdough - fresh, hot sourdough. I used to bake a lot of bread.

i dont buy the actual egg beaters, i buy the eggs and use the egg whites, i throw out the yolk or feed it cooked to my dog, or stick it in with my hubbies omelet - it is cheaper here to buy a dozen eggs then to buy a small carton of egg beaters - okay now i feel bad for being wasteful, but that is also something i have had to get used to, not finishing all on my plate, throwing away food is better than stuffing it in my body, that one was really hard for me - being wasteful, but now i dont think about it too much, or at least try not to ...but wish it was cheaper to buy the cartons of egg beaters then i wouldnt be so wasteful

i scramble an egg white almost every morning and eat it with a slice of fresh tomato (no cheese), i use tomatoes in place of cheese.

Default Love Eggbeaters

I got so burnt out on scrambled eggs, post-op, so I had to stop them altogether, but re-discovered the EggBeaters, because they're convenient, and easy... I also don't really do bread, but a piece of Canadian Bacon, and a smattering of cheese boosts the protein factor, and it still is relatively low in fat... and so darn yummy.

Baron, I'm happy you're getting this surgery, after all this time you've spent fighting... I just am happy for you. It's off the subject, but wanted to say it again.

These eggbeaters sound fab but have never heard of them over here - will try surfing net yet again !!!! If not will try myself as suggested without the egg yolk.
