Ask your doc to schedule you for IV Iron treatments. They will get your iron up fairly quickly. I battle anemia and I had to have the treatmens before surgery. They were painless and I had no side effects.

Hey! How do you feel when you go home after a treatment??
Yea, they are having a hard time finding liquid Iron at CVS for me......

Mel,
If CVS are having a hard time finding the liquid iron then you have to go to other pharmacies.
Not taking your iron isn't an option sweetheart. Get the phone book out and start calling every pharmacy in town.

I felt fine, I would go to work after. Really there isn't anything to worry about. CVS can special order the liquid iron for you. If they state they can't find another pharmacy... many of them will special order it.

Mel,
If you search "manufacturer" and the exact name of the liquid iron, it should give you a company name.
Call them and ask them for the names of the pharmacies stocking that med in your area.
