Default I am from Wichita, Kansas

Hi there, I currently live in Wichita, Kansas, been here all my life. Well almost of it, was born in Winchester, Virginia, lived there till I was about 14 months old. I have been playing on this website and have found out several things both good and bad. I am still a "gonna Be" person, surgery date is not until this December 8th. I have been working with this for about a year and its finally going to happen. I am very excited but very scared as well.

Smile Moving to Kansas within about a year.

Hi,

This is the first place on line I have found with links to Kansas regarding gastric bypass. I currently live in Massachusetts and will be having my surgery in January 2008. My husband and I bought a house in Lebanon Kansas (geographical center of the US) a few years ago. Once the renovation is complete we will be moving there. I am trying to find support groups in Kansas. The only ones I have come accross are in Kansas City, Topeka.... These are about a 5 hour drive from me. I will be in central Kansas about 17 miles south of the Nebraska border. Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

I live in Topeka, KS.

I've been here all my life, and I want OUT These cold winters and snow are for the birds!

But, if there's any fellow Kansans near me, feel free to email or message me.

I'm not having RNY, but I'm having the Lap-Band on January 14th, here in Topeka.

Default Ks

If I had my rathers, I'd rather be from the Bahamas...not KS! Know it could be worse.

Re: support groups...don't know of any except near the larger cities.
