ChemBabe is on a distinguished road
Default So anxious I can't sit still!

Well, after trolling these forums for months, I've finally decided to join, and introduce myself.

I am Rebecca, from Houston. A type II diabetic, with a borderline BMI, I finally found a surgeon who meets the criteria for my insurance, just under the deadline too...

My first appointment with him was on August 19th.
My first nutritionist appointment was on September 4th.
Let the count down begin!...

I am exactly 30 days from my last NUT appt...
8 weeks from my tentative date.

I am so excited I can't stand it... but the nerves are starting to hit too.
and all of the psychological stuff that goes with preparing for such a major life change.

WOOHOO!

It's a time of mixed emotions Rebecca.

But there's more to come - you're in for the ride of your life.

Just keep focussing on your long-term goals and keep reading as much as you can.

And don't forget - we've all been there and we'll do all we can to help you on your journey.
