Default Gman two years afterward

Two years has gone by and I feel as I eat, if I eat too much fats or sweets I will feel it sometimes hours afterward. My weight swing between 5lbs. I'm still trying ti hit that 100 lbs. I loss 85lbs and my doctor said the rest is up to me. the secect is that you still have to go on some type of diet and exicise plan. it is not easy at all, but to protect your health you have to move and weight yourself everyday, i do not like this advice, but it helps.

Hi gman. Welcome to Thinner Times.

I'm at the point where the rest is up to me, as well. My numbers are standing still but my clothes are still getting looser. I haven't given up because I'm not gaining, I'm maintaining and I feel that's a plus. I haven't stopped being active, in fact, I'm more active than ever and planning more adventures for the winter to come.

It would be wonderful if we could all reach our personal goals with an active tool, but that isn't always possible. But our RNY tool has taken us to places we never dreamed of going... so the rest is up to us to walk. It's not as much as it was pre-op -- it CAN be done and HAS been done by many. Why can't I? Of course, I can!

Good luck,

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!

I have passed the mark where weight comes off easy too... it is tough! Still happy to be where I am today vs. 21 months ago!
