I'm a newbie and I'm in the middle of my 6 month supervised diet my last Weigh in is on Dec 10th. I have had my eval and the dietitians requrements. Now I have to have a pre op with Dr. Nicholson and then after words send the paper work to the insurance. I'm a little nervous because they are changing my husbands insurance plan at the begining of the year. We have bcbs anthem ppo and it's always the highest option just still hope they didn't op out on the sugery this year.

Hi Stacy. I think I commented to you in one of your other posts. You're in L'ville, right? Me too! In fact, we have the same doctor and surgery close to the same time.

Thanks, If anyone could point me in the right direction now that would be good. I'm just wondering what I need to do to make things go smoothier. I have to have a pre op with the suregons office before I can actually submit any paper work. I also have to wait until my diet is complete. Has anyone submitted there insurance paper work before the end of there 6 month supervised diet was through.

I will say this have been one of the longest roads to take but in the end I hope it all turns out well. I have been excerising more and quite smoking so that is one of the better things that has come out of this. Now just the waiting game on the insurance after paper work has been submitted.
