Default Alaskan Annie checking in

Hello all! My name is Annie and I live in Anchorage, AK. I have been reading your threads for a while and thought I would officially check in with you all.

I am a 28 year old female going through the hoops to try to get approval for WLS. I'm finishing up most of my testing and stuff now. Just found out I have pretty severe sleep apnea so we are dealing with that and I am finishing up my 3 month doc supervised plan. After that, to the insurance company we go.

I really enjoy reading all of your posts and I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Annie

Welcome, Annie! I don't know when your surgery will be, but I hope it's during one of those long summers you have -- unless you want it sooner!

I'm hoping to get approved and have my surgery in mid-January.

I work for UPS and didn't want to get it done before then because it is peak season there and things are really busy until after Christmas so I've decided to wait a couple more weeks. Then I have vacation planned at the end of December and then hopefully surgery as soon as I am back.

I've got my fingers crossed...
